States that will close Schools today, November 6

17 districts of Bihar and one district in Uttar Pradesh have announced school closures on Thursday. As Anupshahr in Bulandshahr district is hosting the grand, traditional Lakkhi Kartik Purnima Ganga Snan Mela, the schools will also remain closed today. The schools will reopen on Friday as per the latest update. The schools here were closed from 3rd November. The Bulandshahr Education Officer has issued the order regarding the school holidays.

Bihar Assembly Election Today- Schools to remain closed today also

Bihar goes to the polls for its first phase today. The first phase will cover 121 Assembly seats. Seventeen districts have announced a school holiday in connection with the polling. Some schools were already closed today for Guru Nanak Jayanti and will remain shut if they fall within the list of 17 districts.

The Election Commission has directed that all schools and colleges in the 17 districts where phase I polling will occur remain closed on the day of voting. This is to ensure that students, teachers, and staff can participate in the democratic process without hindrance. Maharashtra – Yellow Alert- Are Schools Closed on November 6?

School holiday today, November 6: Schools in the state are open. However, many districts, including Mumbai, had light to heavy rain over the weekend. The yellow alert issued by the weather department is still there for 16 districts, such as Raigad, Jalgaon, Beed, and Amravati. If the rain intensifies, the district administration will close schools. Parents are advised to keep track of the school’s official website and WhatsApp group.

Schools to remain closed in THIS district of Uttar Pradesh from November 3 to November 6

School holiday today, November 6: Anupshahr in Bulandshahr district is hosting the grand, traditional Lakkhi Kartik Purnima Ganga Snan Mela, an annual event celebrated with great fervour. Due to this, School holidays have been declared in Anupshahr from November 3 to 6. The Bulandshahr Education Officer has issued the order regarding the school holidays.

According to the order, schools are closed due to the large influx of devotees and tourists participating in the Mela. This order applies only to government and private schools in the Anupshahr area. Other schools, colleges, and educational institutions in the district will remain open.
