According to sources, Narendra Modi is set to be sworn in as India’s Prime Minister for the third consecutive term on June 9. This achievement marks Modi’s third term in office, a historical record previously held only by India’s first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru.
PM Modi is known for his approach of doing things differently while also doing different things at the same time.
The guest list for his swearing-in ceremony includes hundreds of invitees. Alongside political leaders from both the ruling party and the opposition, there will be prominent figures from the film industry, sports community, top industrialists, and businessmen, among others.

Here is what sets Narendra Modi apart from his predecessors: He has prepared a special list of invitees for the occasion. It has been reported that special invitations have been extended to beneficiaries of Central government schemes, including a few transgenders. Additionally, invitations have been sent to laborers who contributed to the Central Vista project, which includes the construction of the new Parliament, as well as to sanitation workers.
Recognizing their role as strong contributors to nation-building, invitations have also been extended to individuals who worked on key railway projects like Vande Bharat trains and Metro projects. Modi has consistently emphasized the importance of a developed India by 2047, and to mark this significance, several individuals who have served as ambassadors of “Viksit Bharat” have also been invited to the ceremony.
