Rs 10 Lakh Bounty Announced on Lawrence Bishnoi’s Brother, Now on Most-Wanted List

National Investigation Agency (NIA) has declared a bounty of 10 lakh for the arrest of Anmol Bishnoi.

National Investigation Agency (NIA) has declared a bounty of Rs10 lakh for the arrest of Anmol Bishnoi, the brother of idolised criminal Lawrence Bishnoi. The NIA has directly appealed to the public to volunteer any relevant information to the authority.

Anmol, already chargesheeted in two cases filed by the NIA in 2022, has gained additional attention due to recent investigations in Mumbai. He is also wanted by the police in connection with a shooting that occurred outside Bollywood star Salman Khan’s house early this year. On April 14 two motorbike riders open fired at khan’s home in Bandra.

It was said that from August 2023 to April 2024, the planning was implemented by the accused Anmol Bishnoi who was living in another country. Investigators have uncovered that the Bishnoi gang intended to source advanced weapons, such as AK-47s, M16 rifles, and the Turkish Zigana pistol the same type of weapon used in the murder of Punjabi singer politician Sidhu Moose Wala in May 2022. The gang also had been tracking the movement of Salman Khan in Mumbai and his Panvel farmhouse and the Film City Goregaon.

Anmol Bishnoi is considered a significant player in organized crime circles. His name surfaced up again in the murder case of Baba Siddique, who was shot dead on October 12 in Mumbai near his son’s office in Mumbai. Crime branch probe suggests that Anmol Bishnoi was in touch with the shooters through Snapchat, the details of the chat have been found where one of the shooters have been identified as Pune based Praveen Lonkar, who is the main accused in the case.
