This time in Indore, five individuals from the Christian adopted Hinduism. On Thursday, they performed a ritual at the Khajrana Ganesh Temple, adopting Hinduism. They entered the temple after sprinkling Ganga water on themselves, performed a ritual offering before the deity, and tied the sacred thread on their wrists as part of their entry into Hinduism. Just a week ago, 14 Muslims had adopted Hindu religion at the same temple. To date, the VHP (Vishwa Hindu Parishad) leaders have facilitated the return of 100 Muslim individuals to Hinduism.
Following the news of the conversions on Thursday, the police administration was on high alert. The media also arrived at the temple upon hearing the news. Among those from the Christian community, Angel Isaac will now be known as Aryan. Others include Rozy, who will be called Bulbul; Mary, who will now be Usha; Ronaldo, who will now be Rahul; and Ruhi Isaac, who will be known as Ritu.
After the conversion, Rahul, formerly Ronaldo, told the media that he had always wanted to embrace Hinduism and had previously been a devotee of Shri Ram. He had contacted VHP leaders to discuss his conversion to Hinduism. Rahul also mentioned that he was unaware of when his ancestors had converted to Christianity.

VHP leader Santosh Sharma explained that the return of these individuals to Hinduism was facilitated through mantras and rituals at the Khajrana Temple. Three months ago, eight Muslim individuals from Mandsaur and Khajrana were the first to be included in Hinduism at the Khajrana Temple. They had expressed strong influence from the Sanatan Dharma. At that time, a person named Haider was given the name Hari upon adopting Hinduism, but there was an attack on Hari’s house soon after his conversion, leading to a police complaint.
According to Santosh Sharma, the regional administrative head of the VHP, they are continually working to bring back those from the Muslim community who wish to adopt Sanatan Dharma and Hinduism through purification rituals and ceremonies. Previously, on June 29, more than 30 people, including 10 women, came to the Khajrana Ganesh Temple and adopted Hinduism following traditional rites.
Following the continuous conversion of Muslims to Hinduism, on July 12, a threatening letter was sent to Santosh Sharma’s house from a woman. The letter included a death threat against the VHP leader. A complaint was filed with the police station, but the sender of the letter has not yet been identified. On July 18, VHP leader Santosh Sharma facilitated the conversion of another 18 Muslim individuals to Hinduism at the Khajrana Ganesh Temple.
