RJD-Congress wants to drag Bihar back into anarchy, crime, and caste violence: CM Yogi

He said, "The RJD and Congress had turned Bihar into a hub of caste violence, crime, and kidnapping."

On Tuesday, the final day of the first phase of the Bihar Assembly elections, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addressed a massive rally in the Baikunthpur Assembly constituency of Gopalganj district. Speaking in support of BJP candidate Mithilesh Tiwari, CM Yogi launched a fierce attack on the RJD, Congress, and Samajwadi Party, warning, “Those who once ate animal fodder will also consume the rations of the poor if given the chance.”

“Between 1990 and 2005, criminals ruled, officials lived in fear, and the public fled. Businessmen, farmers, and youth were forced to survive in insecurity,” he added. CM Yogi recalled that Bihar had given the nation great personalities like Lord Buddha, Mahavira, and Jayaprakash Narayan, yet those who plunged the state into the ‘lantern era’ now dream of returning to power.

Highlighting Bihar’s progress under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said, “Today, every poor household has cooking gas, every farmer receives Samman Nidhi, and every needy person gets free ration. But those who once consumed fodder meant for animals will also consume the poor’s ration if given a chance.”

Accusing the opposition of being anti-faith, CM Yogi said, “These parties fired on Ram devotees, opposed the Ram temple, and misled the public. Today, the grand Ram temple in Ayodhya is ready, and the construction of the Maa Janaki temple in Sitamarhi stands as a symbol of India’s cultural unity.”

Addressing the crowd, he said, “Bihar has now stepped out of the dim light of the lantern era into the bright light of development.” He urged voters to ensure a landslide victory for BJP candidate Mithilesh Tiwari to uphold the development and dignity of Baikunthpur.

CM Yogi urged the public to remain united to strengthen the foundation of development laid by the NDA government over the past two decades. Asking whether they wanted a return to the days of crime, anarchy, and kidnapping, the crowd responded with a resounding “No.”

He concluded, “This election is about taking Bihar forward and eradicating the darkness of crime and corruption forever. The people of Baikunthpur have always supported truth, and this time, the NDA is set to make history with a landslide victory.”
