New Delhi: Uma Maheswari on Monday was found hanging in her residence at Hyderabad allegedly due to depression. She was not well for several months and undergoing treatment for the same.

Kantamaneni Uma Maheswari was married to K. Sreenevasa Prasad after splitting up with her first husband. Uma was earlier married to a businessman Narendra Rajan from Andhra Pradesh. However, the duo broke up later and took divorce.

Maheswari married to Prasad in December 2021.

Well-known to all, Uma was the youngest child of Andhra Pradesh’s former Chief Minister Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR). NTR Rao was a superstar of Telugu Cinema who later founded Telugu Desam Party (TDP) loved Uma the most among his twelve children.

Unlike her siblings, Uma Maheswari did not follow cinema career and stayed away from the camera lights.

Uma Maheshwari was the sister of Nandamuri Harikrishna, Balakrishna, Nandamuri Mohanakrishna, , Nandamuri Ramakrishna, Nandamuri Ramakrishan Napatim, Daggubati Purandeswari, Nandamuri Balakrishna, Nandamuri Jawarnas Krishna, Nandamuri Jayakrishna, Nandamuri Saikrishna, Nara Bhuvaneswari.
