NHAI News Update: Get a FASTag recharge by reporting dirty toilets. In keeping with the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) has started a new project. Now, you can get a prize of ₹1,000 in the shape of a FASTag recharge if you report a dirty toilet to NHAI at a toll plaza. This program will remain in effect until October 31, 2025, on all national roadways in the nation.
Dirty Toilet: Where To Upload Photo
Highway users can use the updated Rajmargyatra app to upload geotagged and time-stamped pictures of unclean restrooms as part of this program. In addition, they will have to input their mobile number, name, location, and vehicle registration number (VRN). A ₹1,000 FASTag recharge will be applied to the vehicle number if the report is verified to be accurate.
Who Are Eligible To Get Rewards
Only one award will be given to each car registration number for the course of the program. In the same way, even if several complaints are made, a single toilet will only be eligible for a prize once every day. Only the first accurate report will be rewarded if several individuals report the same toilet on the same day. According to NHAI, only images shot via the app that are original, clear, and geotagged will be accepted. Older, altered, or duplicate photographs won’t be accepted. Only those who submit accurate reports will be rewarded, since all entries will be validated by both manual and artificial intelligence (AI).
Only restrooms that are constructed, run, or maintained by NHAI will be covered by this program. It won’t cover restrooms at Dhabas, gas stations, or other private public areas. Cleaning will be encouraged by this project.
