Rekha Gupta Poised To Become Delhi’s Next Chief Minister – Here’s How She And Other BJP Leaders Reacted

Reacting to this decision from BJP, Rekha Gupta said, "I thank BJP, and I am grateful for the blessings of all of you."

Delhi BJP Legislative Party elects Rekha Gupta as its leader. She is set to become the Chief Minister of Delhi. She will be taking oath as Chief Minister of Delhi on Thursday, February 20, 2025.

Reacting to this decision from BJP, Rekha Gupta said, “I thank BJP, and I am grateful for the blessings of all of you.”

Speaking to ANI, BJP MP Ramvir Singh Bidhuri said, “All the MPs and MLAs will meet the Governor and inform him that the BJP Legislative Party has elected Rekha Gupta as its leader. She will take the oath of office as the Chief Minister of Delhi tomorrow.”

BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh, said, ” From a student leader, she carried forward party’s ideology, she has been selected as leader of Delhi BJP Legislative Party. I congratulate her.”

BJP MP Manoj Tiwari said, “Heartiest congratulations to Rekha Gupta for being elected as the CM of Delhi.”

BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj says, ” She will write a new chapter in Delhi.”

Delhi election incharge Baijayant Panda, said, ” The decision has been taken unanimously.”

Union Minister Harsh Malhotra said, ” PM Modi not only speaks about Women empowerment, but he works for it too. She has been elected as the leader of MLAs.”

BJP MLA elect Kapil Mishra said, “It is a historic decision. The MLAs unanimously decided this. We all are now going to meet the LG.”
