Mourning and Tribute by the State
Chief Minister Eknath Shinde praised Tata as a "unique blend of morality and entrepreneurship," announcing a state-wide day of mourning on Thursday. The tricolour at government offices was flown at half-mast, and all entertainment events were cancelled.

Public Farewell and Final Rites
