The day-long fasting was broken after people geared up for Iftar (meal after sunset) in the evening on the 7th day of Ramzan. As the blessed month of Ramadan started, practising Muslims began their day with Sehri (pre-dawn meal). In Delhi, Sehri will begin at 5:20 AM, and Iftar at 6:27 PM today.
