The influx of travelers has driven hotel prices, food, and rent to soaring levels, particularly in Ayodhya.

Ayodhya Ram Mandir – Skyrocketing Room Prices
The prices of hotel rooms in Ayodhya have reached an all-time high, with some luxury rooms costing up to Rs 1 lakh for a single day. Despite the substantial increase in fares, hotel bookings continue to rise daily, fueled by an estimated 3 to 5 lakh people from across the country expected to reach Ayodhya on the consecration day.
Notable Room Rates
According to Business Today, on January 22, the Cygnett Collection Hotel charges Rs 70,240 for one room, marking a fourfold increase from the Rs 16,800 rate in January last year. Similarly, The Ramayan Hotel offers a room at Rs 40,000 per day, compared to Rs 14,900 in January 2023. Ayodhya Palace prices a room at Rs 18,221, significantly higher than the Rs 3,722 rate in January 2023.
Ayodhya Ram Mandir – Luxurious Bookings
The most opulent room in the recently opened Park Inn Radisson has been reserved for a staggering Rs 1 lakh. Vaibhav Kulkarni of Hotel Park Inn by Radisson mentioned that while the hotel is fully booked, a massive crowd is expected. Room rates at this establishment start from Rs 7,500 per day.

Full Bookings and Future Projections
Ramayana Hotel has already booked hotels from January 20 to 23, with 80 percent occupancy in February and March. Room prices range from Rs 10,000 to Rs 25,000, and the anticipation is that they may surge even higher in the coming days.
