Mumbai: Shri Ram Janamabhoomi Teerth Kshetra treasures Swami Govind Dev Giri Maharaj on Wednesday said that the idol of Lord Ram Lalla would be placed at its original place in the third week of January 2024.

He made this statement in Dombivli Maharashtra where he inaugurated various programs. 

While talking to the media, Maharaj said, “The construction work of the Ram temple in Ayodhya is going at pace. At present, around 70 per cent of the work is completed.. We are confident that Ramallah will be installed at that original place in the third week of January 2024”.

On November 9, 2019, a five-judge constitution bench of the supreme court led by then Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi delivered the verdict in favour of Ram Lalla.

The bench ruled that the 2.7 acres of disputed land will be handed over to Ram Lalla. The five-judge bench directed the Union government to form a trust which will monitor the construction of A Ram Temple.

In February 2020, PM Modi announced in Parliament to constitute Shri Ram Janam Bhoomi Teerth Kshetra, to monitor the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya.
