In a significant breakthrough, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has apprehended Rakesh Ranjan Aka Rocky, a close aide of Sanjeev Mukhia, the alleged mastermind behind the NEET paper leak. Mukhia, who fled to Nepal, prompted a widespread search by authorities.

Rocky’s arrest follows revelations that he supplied solved NEET question papers to students at Patna’s Learn Play School, implicating him in a scheme uncovered during the arrests of Sikandar Yadavendu and Amit Anand.
Both Yadavendu and Anand confirmed Rocky’s pivotal role in the illicit operation.
Known for his close ties to Mukhia, Rocky’s capture came after intensive raids across Bihar, Jharkhand, and Bengal, leveraging information obtained from recent arrests in Patna and Dhanbad.
Following his apprehension, Rocky was swiftly presented before a special CBI court, where the agency successfully secured a 10-day remand for further investigation.
