A couple killed a 50-year old women who worked as beautician. After killing the couple chopped beautician’s body and then buried it near their house, police said on Saturday. The police has identified accused as Gulamuddin Frooqi alias Gul Mohammad.
The police said, based on all the information, probe has been started which opens ups that victim got into taxi on the day she disappeared. The taxi driver was called for questioning. He told that he dropped the women near a house in Gangana area, which belonged to Gulamuddin.

DCP (West) Rajarshi Raj Verma said that Anita Chaudhary, resident of Sardarpara was murdered by couple on October 26. Police reached the house of accused, Gulamuddin Frooqi, who has a dry cleaning shop near victim’s beauty parlour following the missing complaint filed by victim’s husband Manmohan Chaudhary. Accused Gulamuddin’s wife told police that her husband had killed and buried Anita in a pit outside their House. Police after digging the pit found a polybag containing body parts of victim.
With the help of CCTV cameras and a taxi driver, who dropped the victim to the accused Gulamuddin’s house in Gangana area, police reached the accused house. Though we did not find him at his house, it was Abida who who revealed that Anita was killed and buried in pit outside their house,” said DCP (West) Rajarshi Raj Verma.
The officer said that victim has last spoken to her husband. At 12 noon. According to police, in preliminary investigation they got to know that the accused was addicted to gambling and had a debt of Rupees 12 lakh. Accused knows victim Anita for 25 years as they had shops facing each other on Sardarpara C Road. Anita used to wear Jewellery and to stole those Jewellery the accused made a plan with help of his wife.
Police said, that he asked the victim Anita to visit his house on October 26. Anita went from her shop to his house in a Taxi. The accused and his wife offered her a laced drink with sedative. After having the drink she became unconscious, then they killed her, removed her jewellery and did pieces of her body before burring her.
