Rajasthan: In a shocking incident, a car carrying five people fell into a drain in Udaipur’s Kherwada area late at night on Tuesday. According to initial reports, two people escaped the tragedy while the other three went missing. The police have recovered the bodies of the two missing people; however, the search for the one missing person is underway. Kherwada police station officer Dalpat Singh said that the submerged car was later rescued by the Civil Defence.

In a separate incident, at least 9 people were killed and 43 others were injured after a container truck hit a tractor carrying devotees of Gogaji late at night on Monday. The vehicle was en route to Gogamedi in Rajasthan from Kasganj, near Ghatal village under the jurisdiction of Bulandshahr police station.
According to Bulandshahr SSP Dinesh Kumar Singh, the tragedy occurred on National Highway 34, near the Aligarh border, around 2:15 a.m. Around 60 to 61 people were traveling in a tractor from Kasganj district to Rajasthan when a container came from behind and hit it. Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath expressed deep condolences over the loss of lives in the road accident in Bulandshahr.
