Rajasthan: 50 Injured As Bee Swarm Attacks Funeral In Jaipur

The officer added that medical personnel treated all casualties, and most victims were later sent home.

The police confirmed that a bee swarm injured 50 people attending a funeral on Monday. According to Station House Officer (SHO) Antim Sharma, the bees attacked the congregation after being disturbed by the heat from the cremation fire in Peeli ki Talai, Amber. Police stated that those affected received first aid at a nearby facility before some were hospitalized at Sawai Mansingh Hospital in Jaipur.

Another Incident

A female resident of Ballia district, Uttar Pradesh, died by suicide after consuming a poisonous substance, according to police reports. The incident occurred in Trikalpur village, which falls under the jurisdiction of the Sahatwar police station. Authorities reported that Dhanwati Devi took her own life following criticism from her mother-in-law for applying color to her father-in-law. She was treated at the hospital, but she succumbed to the effects of the poison during the night.
