As predicted by IMD, India is going see a change in weather on January 11 and 12. This is due to the western disturbance.

Today on January, 11, rain lashed the few parts of Delhi-NCR. This made the weather condition to change. Also cold wind in these areas have increased.

Apart from this, the vehicles on the roads were seen crawling, as there was traffic jams on the road.

Today the AQI of the cities in Delhi was not available as the server of Central Pollution Control Board was down. The Delhi-NCR region was covered with blanket of fog in the morning. This made the visibility go down on the streets of Delhi-NCR.

On January 11 evening, the several places in Delhi-NCR witnessed a light rainfall.

As showed by the India Meteorological Department, on their X handle, “Light to moderate rainfall accompanied with light thunderstorm and lightning (25-40 Km/h gusty winds) is very likely to occur at many places of Delhi & NCR during next 1-2 hours.”

The IMD also predicted a light rainfall in Bahadurgarh, Noida, Greater Noida, Gurugram, Faridabad, Manesar, Ballabhgarh) Kaithal, Narwana, Fatehabad, Rajaund, Assandh, Safidon, Barwala, Jind, Panipat, Adampur, Hissar, Gohana, Gannaur, Hansi, Siwani, Meham, Sonipat and Tosham.
