According to the information, a team of senior legal advisors and lawyers of Congress has prepared a petition challenging the decision of the magistrate court. During this, many big leaders of Rahul Gandhi’s Congress will also be present in Surat. According to the information received from party sources, along with Rahul Gandhi, the Chief Ministers of three states will also be present. Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel and Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu will also reach the court along with Rahul Gandhi. During this, many more veteran Congress leaders will be with Rahul Gandhi.
According to information received from party sources, Rahul Gandhi will reach Surat in the afternoon. After this, going to the Sessions Court will complete the legal procedures of filing the petition. Advocate Kirit Panwala, who has been deputed to file the petition on behalf of Rahul in the sessions court, told the media in Surat that the former Congress president would reach the sessions court around 3 pm.
