New Delhi: After being disqualified from Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi held a press conference for the first time on Saturday and said that India’s democracy is under attack, and new examples are being found every day.
Speaking at Congress headquarters he said, “Adani ji has a shell company, someone invested Rs 20,000 crore in it, it is not Adani’s money, it is someone else’s money, the question is, whose is this Rs 20,000 crore”.
“I have spoken about it with full of evidence but they had not let me speak in parliament. I wrote to Lok Sabha Speaker but I did not get any reply, BJP’s ministers are lying about me, they have put allegations against me but I did not get a chance to reply to them all,” said Rahul Gandhi.
Taking about the relationship between Adani and Prime minister Modi, Rahul Gandhi said, “ I have put photographs and spoken in detail about the relationship between Adani and Modi Ji. this relationship is not new, the relationship is old”.
“I do not scare off any disqualification or jail sentences, that does not matter to me, I will continue to ask questions,” said Rahul Gandhi.
