“I have spoken about it with full of evidence but they had not let me speak in parliament. I wrote to Lok Sabha Speaker but I did not get any reply, BJP’s ministers are lying about me, they have put allegations against me but I did not get a chance to reply to them all,” said Rahul Gandhi.

Taking about the relationship between Adani and Prime minister Modi, Rahul Gandhi said, “ I have put photographs and spoken in detail about the relationship between Adani and Modi Ji. this relationship is not new, the relationship is old”.

“I do not scare off any disqualification or jail sentences, that does not matter to me, I will continue to ask questions,” said Rahul Gandhi.

A Surat court on Thursday convicted and sentenced him to two years in prison in a criminal defamation case lodged in 2019 over his ‘Modi surname’ remark. However, the court granted bail to Rahul Gandhi and stayed the execution of the sentence for 30 days, so that Rahul Gandhi could challenge the verdict. Addressing an election rally in Karnataka in 2019, Rahul Gandhi said, “Why do all thieves have the same surname, Modi?”
