Lok Sabha LoP and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has again taken dig at the BJP over Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha Ceremony.
Addressing a public meeting in Hisar, Haryana, Rahul Gandhi said, “Awadhesh Prasad won in Ayodhya because people of India saw how the President was not invited for Ram Mandir inauguration ceremony as she is an adivasi, they called Amitabh Bachchan, Ambani, Adani but no worker, labourer or farmer was invited for the ceremony. There was music and dance going on.”
He said, “Naach gana chal raha hai, dance chal raha hai, pura Hindustan dance kar raha hai.” Rahul added, “This is the reality.”
This is not the first time that Rahul Gandhi has called out the BJP for Ram Mandir inauguration ceremony. In the past also, he had pointed out at the celebrities invited for the inauguration of Ram Mandir and the absence of poor. Congress had even declined the invitation of the ceremony.
During Congress’ Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Chhattisgarh, Rahul Gandhi had said, “I saw Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, Ambani, and Adani, but not a single farmer or labourer. All the billionaires were there, giving long speeches, while the voices of the poor were ignored.”
He had repeatedly accused the BJP of ignoring the voices of poor section.
With Haryana election round the corner, Rahul Gandhi didn’t miss out the chance to attack and criticize BJP from every front. He claimed that the Congress is going to clean sweep in Haryana elections.
BJP’s Response
However, Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Nach Gana’ comment didn’t went well down with the BJP. BJP leader Aparna Yadav responded to Congress and said, “Calling Lord Ram’s event a ‘naach’ is a huge mistake by itself. He should apologise to the nation..PM Modi showered flowers on those who constructed the Ram Temple. There have been three prime ministers from that family did any one of them do anything like this?”
