New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi attacked the central government over the issue of unemployment and price-rise, and said that the BJP-led government is not for farmers, youth, and women but for the five-six richest Indians.

“PM often asks- ’70 saal mein kya kiya?’ We never gave India the highest-ever unemployment. We never gave India the record price rise it faces today,” Gandhi said in a tweet.

“BJP govt is not a govt for farmers, youth & women. It’s a govt for 5-6 richest Indians who are monopolising any business they want,” he added.

Congress has been attacking the central government over its alleged failure to bring down prices and for rising unemployment in the country. The grand old party alleged that the government’s policies have worsened the economic situation of the country.

Cheetahs have arrived, why not jobs?

Earlier, on September 17, Gandhi had attacked the central government raising the issue of unemployment in the country. Rahul Gandhi, posted a photo of himself with graduates holding placards which read “we need jobs”.

“8 cheetahs have come, now tell me, Why didn’t 16 crore jobs come in 8 years?” questioned Gandhi.

He further added “the youth of this country is asking for jobs and they will surely get them”.
