‘Won’t Pay? Face Bullets’: Pakistan-Based Gangster Shahzad Bhatti Orchestrates Firing In Jalandhar

In a shocking incident, Pakistani gangster Shahzad Bhatti ordered firing in Aman Nagar of Jalandhar district in Punjab after not receiving the ransom. Fortunately, there was no loss of life. The incident took place around 8:30 pm in the night, when some youths riding a motorcycle opened fire outside a house. As soon as the information about the firing was received, the police officers of Jalandhar Commissionerate reached the spot and started the investigation.

What Did Police Say?

Briefing about the incident, DCP Manpreet Singh Dhillon stated that two elderly people live in this house. According to him, their son lives in Portugal and runs a restaurant. Last Friday, Shahzad Bhatti had demanded ransom from him. However, when Bhatti didn’t receive the amount, he ordered firing today. Police have found four bullet shells.

The woman living in the house, Charanjit Kaur, talked to News24 reporter about the incident. She said that five minutes before the firing, she received a call which she did not attend. After that, when the second call came, and she picked up the phone, the other person started abusing. This resulted in altercation between the two parties over the phone. Bhatti then threatened that something unexpected will happen after 5 minutes. The lady said that as soon as he ended the call, she heard the sound of gunfire from outside. About 10-12 bullets were fired.

“My three sons live in Portugal, this seems to be a case of sending them abroad by a travel agent. I have no other information about this,” added the woman.

Notably, there has been a rise in such firing incidents in Punjab. Bhatti had earlier planned a grenade attack at the house of YouTuber Roger Sandhu in a village in Jalandhar.
