Punjab News: Congress leader shot dead in Punjab’s Taran Taran

Punjab News: Congress leader Major Singh Dhaliwal was shot dead near Sangwa village in the bordering town of Patti of Taran Taran district in Punjab. Punjab News: Congress leader Major Singh Dhaliwal was shot dead near Sangwa village in the bordering town of Patti of Taran Taran district in Punjab.

Senior Superintendent of Police, Taran Taran district, Gurmeet Chauhan said that Dhaliwal has been shot dead by a woman who is his relative. She fired two bullets at Dhaliwal.

Dhaliwal was the chairman of the Patti market committee during the previous tenure of congress. 

A police team has been appointed to catch all the accused, SSP said.
