Punjab CP Chahal Meets Injured ASI Daljeet Singh In Hospital

CP Chahal, DCP Jaskiran Singh Teja, ADCP Rupinder Kaur Sra asked the hospital administration to provide the very best of medical treatment.

Following encounter with gangsters in which Ludhiana Police ASI Daljeet Singh sustained bullet injury on his leg in retaliatory fire, the Commissioner Ludhiana Kuldeep Singh Chahal, IPS went to DMC hospital to personally enquire his junior’s well-being and line of treatment.

Lauding the ASI for his courage in taking on the gangsters, CP Chahal along with DCP Jaskiran Singh Teja, ADCP Rupinder Kaur Sra asked the hospital administration to provide the very best of medical treatment, and wished the injured policeman a speedy recovery.

Earlier, during an encounter with gangsters, a crime wing team of Ludhiana Police led by Incharge CIA 2 Insp Beant Juneja had neutralised one gangster Sukhdeep Singh @Vicky in retaliatory fire at village Panjeta near Machhiwara. During the exchange of fire, the ASI had sustained a bullet injury.

Ludhiana Police will not let anyone take law into their hands and strictest action as per law would be taken each time against anyone trying to vitiate law and order, the CP said later while taking to media.
