Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has been admitted to Fortis Hospital after his health deteriorated. Mann had been unwell for the last couple of days and was advised to take rest at home.
However, on Friday, after his condition worsened, the doctors suggested that he be admitted to the hospital for treatment.
On September 4, Former Delhi CM and AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal visited Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann at his residence to inquire about his health.

Meanwhile, Congress MLA Sukhpal Singh Khaira questioned why the Chief Minister was not taken to the Aam Aadmi Clinic in Mohali, which the AAP government has promoted as having world-class health facilities.
In a post on X, he wrote, “Firstly my sympathy @BhagwantMann on his deteriorating health if the news is true ! Secondly i urge Arvind Kejriwal to shift him to Aam Aadmi Clinic in Mohali that has world-class health facilities according to Aam Aadmi Party leaders, why shift him to Fortis Hospital? Lastly, i hope this time it’s not a fake health news bcoz last time when Bhagwant Mann was admitted to Fortis it was theatrics & drama ! Last but not the least people don’t expect Fortis Hospital to issue fake health bulletins like they did last time!”
Amidst Punjab dealing with severe floods, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Thursday announced the appointment of one gazetted officer for each village of the state for better communication between the administration and affected people.
In a post on social media X, the CM wrote that with the appointment of the gazetted officer, the people of the villages would be able to share their problems, and prompt and appropriate solutions could be provided.
“To ensure direct communication between the administration and the people of the flood-affected villages of the state, we are appointing one gazetted officer for each village, so that those affected by the natural disaster can share all their problems with them, and prompt and appropriate solutions can be provided,” the post read.
