Waris Punjab De Protest: ‘Waris Punjab De’ Chief Amritpal Singh on Thursday allegedly threatened the Amritsar district administration to a fiery protest, if the case against his two supporters will not be taken back in an hour.
‘Waris Punjab De’ chief Amritpal Singh said, “FIR registered only with a political motive. If they do not cancel the case in one hour, the admin will be responsible for whatever happens next… They think we cannot do anything, so this show of strength was necessary.”

Thousands of supporters of ‘Waris Punjab De’ Chief Amritpal Singh broke through police barricades with swords and guns outside Ajnala PS in Amritsar district of Punjab.
The huge crowd gathered outside the PS to protest against the arrest of Lovepreet Toofan a close aid of Amritpal Singh.
Who is Amritpal Singh?
Amritpal Singh is the chief of the Punjab-based rebel outfit ‘Waris Punjab De”. The organisation was founded by late actor Deep Sandhu. After the sudden death of Sandhu in a road accident last year, Amritpal was appointed as the new chief of the organisation.

Amritpal used to work in Dubai, he had a transport business there. After Deep Sandhu’s demise, he returned to Punjab. Many times, he reiterated his vision to create “Khalistan”. He considers Bhindranwala as his role model.
