New Delhi: President Droupadi Murmu will be the chief guest of Jharkhand Foundation Day celebrations on November 15.

As per information shared by Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren, the president has accepted the invitation sent by the state government.

CM Soren tweeted that the President will be the chief guest at the foundation day ceremony to be organized on the occasion of Bhagwan Birsa Munda Jayanti. Many thanks to the President for accepting the invitation, he said.

This will be her first visit to Jharkhand after becoming the President of India. She had also served as the first female tribal governor of Jharkhand.
