In memory of Mrs. Usha Batra, mother of Dr. Anurag Batra (Chairman and Editor-in-Chief of BW Businessworld and Founder-Chairman of Exchange4Media Group), a prayer meeting will be held in Delhi on October 28. The gathering will take place at 3 p.m. on Monday, October 28, at the Multi-Purpose Hall of the India International Centre (IIC) on Lodhi Road, where friends, family, and colleagues will pay tribute to Mrs. Batra and remember her life.
Mrs. Usha Batra passed away on October 25, 2024, at the age of 83, after struggling with age-related health issues. She was under treatment at a private hospital in Delhi, where she peacefully passed away around 6 a.m. on Friday. Her last rites were held on October 25 at approximately 12:30 p.m. at the crematorium in Madanpuri, Old Gurugram.

A dedicated educator, Mrs. Usha Batra contributed significantly to the field of education and teacher training through her work with the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Haryana. She retired as the principal of a government school and was known for her warmth, kindness, and compassionate personality. Prominent figures and industry leaders have expressed their condolences and offered their heartfelt sympathies to her family.
