Prashant Kishor, the convenor of Jan Suraj, recently revealed that he charges over Rs 100 crore as a consulting fee when advising political parties or leaders for elections. Kishor made this disclosure on October 31 while campaigning for the upcoming by-elections in Bihar.
Addressing Funding Queries at Belaganj Event
While speaking at an event in Belaganj, Prashant Kishor addressed a crowd that included members of the Muslim community, responding to common questions about how he funds his campaigns. “Ten governments in different states are running on my strategies,” he said. “Do you think I won’t have enough money to set up tents and canopies for my campaign? If I advise someone in just one election, my fee is Rs 100 crore or even more. For the next two years, I can continue to fund my campaign with just one such election advice.”
