New Delhi: In a shocking announcement on Sunday, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal declared that he will resign in the coming two days. He further stated that he will remain away from the office until people’s verdict.
The unexpected resignation announcement has sparked widespread reactions from various political leaders. BJP national spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari has labelled the resignation move as a PR stunt of Kejriwal. He stated that the AAP Chief’s image as a leader among the people of Delhi is tainted by corruption. He further alleged that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is perceived across the country as a corrupt party.

Bhandari alleged that Kejriwal wants to rebuild his reputation under his PR stunt. He criticised him for trying to adopt the Sonia Gandhi strategy, stating she positioned Manmohan Singh as a dummy Prime Minister and controlled the government from behind the scenes.

BJP National Secretary Manjinder Singh Sirsa has also hit out at Kejriwal, calling his offer to resign as another political stunt. In his recent statement, he slammed the AAP leader, stating that the court has made it clear that he cannot continue wielding power as Chief Minister, since his reputation remains tarnished due to his involvement in the Delhi liquor scam.
