Power supply will be disrupted in several parts of nine districts in Tamil Nadu tomorrow, Wednesday, due to repair and maintenance work. The districts affected by the power outage are: Coimbatore, Chennai, Erode, Krishnagiri, Palladam, Perambalur, Pudukottai, Theni, and Udumalpet. The Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (TANGEDCO) has reported power outages in more than 150 areas in these districts due to maintenance work.
Areas affected by power outages in Coimbatore
Power supply will be disrupted in several areas of Coimbatore. The affected areas include Kariyampalayam, Chinniyampalayam, Mayilampatti, R.G. Pudur, Kayakolampalayam, Venkittapuram, Yamuna Nagar, Kalappanaickenpalayam, GCT Nagar, Kanuvai, KNG Pudur, Thadagam Road, Somayampalayam, Agarwal Road, parts of Cheran Industries, Vidyaka Co, Kuniyamuthur, parts of Sundarapuram, Kovaipudur, and Puthuvikki.
Power Outages in Erode and Affected Areas (Time: 9 AM to 2 PM)
Several areas in Erode district will experience power outages from 9 AM to 2 PM on Wednesday. The affected areas include SIPCOT Perundurai, Bhavani Road, Silattanagar, Karumandichellipalayam, Olapalayam, Tiruvachi, Kandampalayam, and Valiyampalayam.
Burgur, Sipkot, Oppadhavadi, Varamalaigunda, Karakuppam, Kuruvinayanpally, Chinamattarapalli, Nerlakuttai, Venkatasamudhiram, Varattanapally, Kalikovil, Chinnatarapalli, Meduganapalle, G.N. There will be power cuts in Mangalam, Town, Kaveripattinam, Thallihalli, Penneswaramdam, Savalur, Chandapuram, Narimedu, Errahalli, Pothapuram, Payyur, Devaramukkulam, Periyannakkottai, Therpatti, Balanur, Nedungal, Jegadhap, Housing Board, Thogarapalli, Billakottai, Aadalam, Bagimanur, Ampalli, Madarahalli, Tirthagiripatti, Jinjampatti, Guttur, Batlapalli, Perumalkuppam, Nadupattu, Kannadahalli, Athiganur and Kottur on Wednesday.
Power outages will occur in South Avinashipalayam, Velampalayam, Thottipalayam, Koduvai, Kosavampalayam, Periyarnagar, Theethampalayam, Thangamedu, Semmandapalayam, and Thanerpandal on Tuesday, September 24th.
Affected areas in Perambalur
Power outages will occur in Vikramangalam, Gunamangalam, Sundakudi, Thathanur, Suthamalli, Muttuvancheri, Kottiyal, and Venmankondan.
Affected areas in Pudukottai
Power outages will occur in the entire Alangudi, Malaiyur, Vadakkadu area, and the city and surrounding areas of Pudukottai.
Areas with power outages in Theni
Chinnamanur Town, Palvarayanpatti, Kundalanaickenpatti, Ammapatti, Theni, Upparapatti, Coonoor, and Thoppupatti will experience power outages on Tuesday.
Affected Areas in Udumalpet
Power will be out in several parts of Udumalpet due to maintenance work. Affected areas include Angalakurichi, Pongaliyur, Sathumadai, Topslip, Parambikulam, Somanthuraichittoor, NM Sungam, Aliyar, Nanjanaikanur, Kottur, Thensangampalayam, Kampalpatti, and Ceylon Colony.
