Shrinagar: A disclosure came in the terrorist attack on the army truck in Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday. As per probe agencies terrorists used sticky bombs, a high end explosive. the terrorists also fired 32 rounds on truck.
Sources say that the attack in Poonch is exactly the same pattern as the Katra attack. In Katra too, there was an attack with sticky bombs. Although there was no loss of life at that time. The forensic team has taken all the samples from the truck. IB has shared all facts-related reports with MHA and NIA.
200 commandos engaged in the search operation
It is being told that steel bullets were also used in the attack. 2 grenade pins have been recovered from the truck. Kerosene boxes have also been found. The statements of the 3 paramedics who evacuated all the army personnel were also recorded. Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police and paramilitary forces are conducting a massive search operation. About 2000 commandos are engaged in the search operation.
DG BSF visited Rajouri and Poonch area
Director General of Border Security Force IPS Dr SL Thousen reached BSF Headquarters in Jammu on Friday evening. After this visited Rajouri and Poonch regions. DG BSF was accompanied by P V Rama Shastri, IPS, ADG (Western Command), D K Boora, IG, BSF Jammu and senior police and CRPF officers. DG BSF was informed by DIG BSF Rajouri.
DG BSF also held security-related discussions with DG J&K Police and other CRPF commanders based in Rajouri and Poonch sectors. The DG interacted with the BSF jawans and motivated them to give their best at all times.
