A shocking case of a minor girl’s abduction has emerged in Banda, Uttar Pradesh. The family alleges that three individuals forcibly kidnapped their daughter from outside their home. Subsequently, they approached the local police station to report the incident and seek help. However, instead of assisting them, the police did not take the complaint seriously and requested the girl’s marksheet.
Despite the family’s attempts to search for their daughter, they couldn’t locate her. Consequently, they went to the police to seek their help. However, they didn’t make an effort to solve the problem and responded casually.
The inspector underscored that we can only register the case when we provide them with our daughter’s marksheet, the family added. Consequently, the family decided to contact the Superintendent of Police (SP) to seek justice.
Upon receiving the woman’s complaint, SP Ankur Aggarwal promptly instructed the station in charge to register a case. As a result, a case has been filed under section 363J at the Kotwali Nagar police station, and an investigation has been initiated. The police are actively searching for the missing minor, and once she is found, her statement will be recorded in court, leading to further legal action.
Two weeks back, an inspector was suspended amid a probe into the murder and abduction of a 12-year-old boy. Instead of taking requisite action after the complaint was filed, he went home and slept. He informed the higher authorities about it on the following day.
