PM to inaugurate multiple development projects in Kerala today
PM on Kerala Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on his two-day Kerala visit. He will inaugurate Kerala's Vande Bharat express at the Thirivananthapuram Central Railway Station at 10:30 am on Tuesday.
Prime Minister arrived at Thiruvananathapuram airport at 10:05 am. He will flag off the Vande Bharat Express train service from Thiruvananthapuram Central railway station. The Pm will spend 20 minutes at the railway station. However, he will not board the train.
After the launching of Vande Bharat Express, the PM will leave for the Thiruvananthapuram Central Stadium to inaugurate and lay foundation stones of development projects worth Rs 3200 crore. The projects are started by the Kerala government. On the occasion the Kochi water metro service and digital university too will be launched.
Tight security arrangements
Tight security arrangements have made in view of Prime Minister visit. Restictiona are imposed on the movement of passengers to platform 1 and 2 of Thiruvanathapuram Central railway station.The selling of train tickets is also banned on Tuesday.
The KSRTC depot at Thampanoor in the heart of the city is closed down temporarily from 8am to 11 am. All shops and offices will be open after 11 am. the bus service will be shifted to Vikas Bhawan.
