Diwali 2022: It has now become a tradition for the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, ever since he took charge in 2014, to visit the border areas of country on Diwali each year to bring cheer to the lives of the armed forces personnel posted at the remotest security check posts.
This year the Diwali (Diwali 2022) is celebrated on October 24 across the country. Diwali preparations are in full swing. Like every year, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will celebrate his Diwali with the soldiers on the border for the security of the country.
Prime minister has been celebrating Diwali with soldiers for the last eight years. Since assuming the office in 2014, PM Modi has made it a point to meet Army men in a border region on Diwali, starting from a visit to Siachen in 2014. He celebrated the festival with armed forces personnel in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district twice — in 2019 and 2021.
According to sources, security arrangements has been made for Prime minister border visit on October 24. But the name of the place has yet not been revealed due to PM’s security reasons.
According to the information, PM Modi will celebrate Diwali with the soldiers of the Indian Armed Forces in Jammu & Kashmir on October 24. PM Modi may visit Mana, India’s last village on the border with China and also interact with villagers and soldiers.
