New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday distributed 70,126 appointment letters at the job fair. Employment fairs have become the new identity of the NDA-BJP government.
PM Modi said this is a very important period for those stepping into government roles as the ‘Amrit Kaal of Independence’ has begun and the new appointees will aim to make India a developed country in the next 25 years.
He said that the Mudra Yojana has helped crores of youth. Campaigns like Start-up India and Stand-up India have further enhanced the potential of the youth. These youths, who got help from the government, are now themselves giving jobs to many other youths.
PM Modi said that these job fairs have become the new identity of the NDA and BJP governments. I am happy that the BJP-ruled governments are also continuously organising such job fairs. We have the target of making India a developed nation in the next 25 years.
According to the information, apart from the departments of the Central Government, appointments are to be made in the State Government and Union Territories. Selected newly appointed employees across the country have been selected in different departments of the government, which include the Department of Financial Services, the Department of Posts, the Department of School Education, the Department of Higher Education, the Ministry of Defence, the Department of Revenue, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the Department of Atomic Energy, the Ministry of Railways, the Department of Audit and Accounts, and the Ministry of Home Affairs.
The employment fair is a big step towards giving priority to employment generation under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Newly appointed government employees are getting an opportunity to train themselves through an online module called “Karmayogi Pramukh’ on the iGOT Karmayogi portal. More than 400 e-learning courses have been made available on this portal. These employees can connect with it from anywhere and through any device.
