New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi launched an attack at Prime Minister Narendra Modi over Manipur violence and accused that the latter’s ideology has set Manipur on fire.

In a video message on Thursday, Rahul Gandhi said that one would wonder why the PM of the country is not going to Manipur and speaking on this? “This is because Narendra Modi is the PM of a select few in the RSS. It has nothing to do with Manipur. They know that its ideology has set Manipur of fire.”

Rahul Gandhi asked “What is Prime Minister Narendra Modi is doing for Manipur? Why is he not speaking anything about Manipur? This is because Narendra Modi ji has nothing to do with Manipur.”

PM will burn Manipur, whole country in greed of power: Rahul Gandhi 

In one of the videos Gandhi shared on Twitter, he said that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)- Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) only desired power and can do anything to get it.

He said, “they will burn Manipur, they will burn the whole nation for power. They do not care about the sorrow and pain of the country.”

Rahul Gandhi stressed upon the ongoing ideological war between the RSS-BJP and the Congress. He claimed that the Congress has the ideology to protect the constitution, unite the nation as well as the one that fights against social inequality.

INDIA delegation to visit violence-hit Manipur on July 29-30

Meanwhile, a delegation of Opposition bloc INDIA will visit Manipur for two days starting from July 29 and 30. The visit is taking place at a time when Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla has accepted the notice given by the opposition parties for a no-confidence motion against the government.
