PM Modi’s Jamshedpur Visit Cancelled: Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s roadshow in Jamshedpur, which was scheduled for this Sunday, has been cancelled due to heavy and continuous rain.

Jharkhand BJP president Babulal Marandi made the announcement through his tweets that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s roadshow in Jamshedpur has been canceled due to continuing heavy rain.

Scheduled as part of the Prime Minister’s tour, the roadshow has been postponed in view of bad weather conditions.

PM Modi was to come to Jamshedpur to launch the new Vande Bharat trains besides inaugurating rural development schemes.

PM Flags Off Vande Bharat Trains Virtually In Jamshedpur

But now, PM Modi has launched the Vande Bharat train between Tatanagar-Patna virtually from Tatanagar Junction Railway Station. Additionally, He will lay the foundation stone of and dedicate several railway projects worth over Rs 660 crores. In addition, he will distribute sanction letters to 20,000 beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana- Gramin (PMAY-G) in Tatanagar, Jharkhand.

Union minister Arjun Munda said that quite a few national rural development schemes, including housing projects, are scheduled to be inaugurated. The aim is to ensure that these welfare schemes reach the right hands. The visit was also scheduled to include public meeting by BJP at Gopal Maidan of Jamshedpur.
