Prime Minister Modi will address One world TB Summit at Rudrakash Convention Centre at 10:30 am. He later lay foundation stone of several development projects worth over Rs1780 crore at Sampurnanand Sanskrit University ground.

On World Tuberculosis Day, the Prime Minister will speak at the One Global TB Summit. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) and the Stop TB Partnership are organising this conference.

The Stop TB Partnership, founded in 2001, is a United Nations-hosted organisation that raises the voices of people, communities, and countries affected by tuberculosis.

The Prime Minister will inaugurate several initiatives during the occasion, including the TB-Mukt Panchayat programme, the official pan-India deployment of a shorter TB Preventative Treatment (TPT), and a family-centric TB care model.
