New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Kedarnath and Badrinath shrines before Diwali. However, he will be among soldiers on the festival day, as he has been doing for the last eight years.
The Prime Minister will first travel to Kedarnath, where he will worship and later take a stock of the region’s ongoing construction works. After that, he will visit the Badrinath Temple to pay his obeisance before reviewing the work of the Badrinath master plan.
PM is slated to travel Kedarnath on October 21. After visiting the shrine, he will leave for Badrinath on the same day.
The district administration began making plans for the PM’s potential visit to the temples last week.
Every year before the closure of the doors, Prime Minister Narendra Modi comes to Uttarakhand to visit Baba Kedarnath and like every year, this time too he will worship Baba Kedar with milk Abhishek and Jalabhishek.
