Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrote to the nation on Friday, one day before the announcement of the election dates. In his letter PM reflected on his term in office, and he further discussed his achievements on various topics like the repeal of Article 370, the Women’s Reservation Act, a law against Triple Talaq, and the construction of a new Parliament building.

Prime Minister calls citizens his family
In his letter, Prime Minister Modi referred to the citizens as “family member(s)” and outlined the policies and programs his administration had implemented during the previous two terms. He also asked for recommendations from the populace.
In his letter, the prime minister stated “Our government’s greatest accomplishment over the last decade has been the transformation of people’s lives. These transformative effects are the product of a committed government’s honest efforts to improve the quality of life for the poor, farmers, youth, and women,”.

PM Modi went on to highlight the central government’s programs, saying that the success of initiatives like the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, which provides pucca houses; the Matru Vandana Yojana, which assists women; the Ayushman Bharat, which offers free medical treatments; and many more have been made possible by the trust that you have placed in me.
In addition to addressing terrorism and Left-Wing Extremism (LWE), Prime Minister Modi discussed the achievements of his government, including the introduction of the Goods and Services Tax (GST), the repeal of Article 370, the Women’s Reservation Act, a law against Triple Talaq, and the construction of a new Parliament building.
To move forward with his trip, he also asked the public for unwavering support, pointing out that democracy and the creation of “Viksit Bharat” depend on public involvement.
