The chairperson of the Reliance Foundation, Nita Ambani, was one of the 90 speakers at the Harvard India Conference 2025 over the weekend. The conference is an annual gathering that showcases the diversity of India through discussions on business, policy, and culture, providing a platform for students.
Nita Ambani delivered the keynote address at the conference and also participated in a rapid-fire interview during a fireside chat with the eminent scholar and former dean of Harvard Business School, Nitin Nohria.
During the rapid-fire round, the interviewer asked to choose between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Mukesh Ambani.
“I think Prime Minister Modi ji is good for the nation, and my husband Mukesh is good for my home,” said Nita Ambani after which the audience applauded and cheered.
Nita Ambani also drew attention in an heirloom Parsi Gara sari. Manish Malhotra, an Indian fashion designer, posted on Instagram that the saree had been restored by famous saree revivalist Zenobia S. Davar. For more than 22 years, the annual conference has been a key arena for specialists in business, economics, education, and culture.
