Indore Metro Project Key Details

The entire Indore Metro project spans 31.32 kilometers, including 22.62 km elevated and 8.7 km underground sections, with a total of 28 stations. The total project cost is approximately Rs 7,500 crore, with the 6-km section alone costing around Rs 1,520 crore.

PM Modi will launch passenger services on the Super Priority Corridor of the Indore Metro's Yellow Line. This initial 6-kilometer elevated section includes five stations: Gandhinagar, Super Corridor-6, Super Corridor-5, Super Corridor-4, and Super Corridor-3.

Satna Airport Redevelopment

The Prime Minister will also virtually inaugurate Satna Airport, redeveloped at a cost of Rs 37 crore. The old airstrip has been upgraded with a 1,200-meter runway, a 750 sq. meter terminal building, ATC tower, VIP lounge, and facilities for special-needs passengers. The airport received DGCA operational clearance on December 20, 2024, and can accommodate two 19-seater aircraft at a time.

Datia Airport Inauguration

PM Modi will virtually inaugurate the newly constructed Datia Airport. Built for Rs 60 crore over 124 acres, the airport includes a 1.81-kilometer runway, two check-in counters, and parking for 50 cars. FlyBig Airlines will operate 19-seater flights four times a week. The airport will enhance accessibility for pilgrims and boost regional development.

PM Modi To Release Rs 300 Commemorative Coin On Lokmata Ahilyabai Holkar’s 300th Birth Anniversary

A Women Empowerment Conference is set to be held in Bhopal today to mark the 300th birth anniversary of Devi Ahilyabai Holkar. During the event, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the country’s first-ever Rs 300 commemorative coin. The Ministry of Finance issued a Gazette notification regarding the coin on Friday. Weighing 35 grams, the coin will contain 50% silver.

One side of the coin will feature a portrait of Ahilyabai Holkar, with the inscription “300वीं जयंती अहिल्या बाई होलकर” in Hindi at the top and in English at the bottom. The years "1725-2025" will be inscribed on the left and right sides.

The reverse side of the coin will display the Ashoka Pillar, with the denomination “₹300” written below it. The word "भारत" in Hindi and "India" in English will be inscribed on either side of the emblem.

This will be the first coin of its kind in India and globally with a ₹300 denomination. Prime Minister Modi will also release a special postal stamp dedicated to Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai on this occasion.
