PM Modi in Upper House: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday will reply to the President’s address at 2pm in the Rajya Sabha. The PM has replied to the President’s address in the Lok Sabha on Wednesday.

The debate on the motion of thanks to the President’s Address in Rajya Sabha concluded on Wednesday. “Reply by the Prime Minister will be at 2 pm tomorrow,” said Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar after the last speaker spoke on the motion on Wednesday.

In an 85-minute speech in the Lok Sabha, he responded to the opposition in his familiar style. During this, he took a jibe at Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra and the unity of the opposition.

PM’s potshot on Rahul Gandhi

PM Modi said that some speeches made on Tuesday were lauded by their ecosystem and “maybe they slept well and couldn’t wake up (on time)”.

“I was watching yesterday. After the speeches of a few people, some people were happily saying, “Ye hui na baat.” Maybe they slept well & couldn’t wake up (on time). For them it has been said, “Ye keh keh ke hum dil ko behla rahe hain,wo ab chal chuke hain, wo ab aa rahe hain“,” PM Modi said.
