PM Modi in Mysuru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is in Karnataka today. He will go to Bandipur and the Mudumalai Tiger Reserve. On the 50th anniversary of Project Tiger, PM will reveal tiger data. On the occasion, a commemorative coin will be released.
PM Modi will pay a visit to the Bandipur Tiger Reserve. In addition, PM Modi will meet with frontline field employees and self-help groups involved in tiger conservation. The PM will visit Theppakadu Elephant Camp and engage with the mahouts in addition to the Mudumalai Tiger Reserve.

According to Forest Department officials, the Bandipur Tiger Reserve began with only 9 tigers. The tiger population has grown to 53. The number of tigers in India is steadily increasing.
