In a post on X, PM Modi wrote, “The entire day tomorrow, 14th September, will be devoted to the development of Assam! Projects worth over Rs. 18,530 crore will either be inaugurated or their foundation stones will be laid. The first programme will take place in Darrang, where the foundation stone will be laid for the Medical College and Hospital, as well as the Nursing College. The foundation stone will also be laid for the Guwahati Ring Road Project.”
He further added, “In Golaghat, the Assam Bioethanol Plant at Numaligarh Refinery Limited will be inaugurated. This is an important step towards promoting clean energy. The foundation stone for the Polypropylene Plant at Numaligarh Refinery will also be laid. These works will boost the local economy and encourage job creation.”
