In a post on X, PM Modi wrote, “The entire day tomorrow, 14th September, will be devoted to the development of Assam! Projects worth over Rs. 18,530 crore will either be inaugurated or their foundation stones will be laid. The first programme will take place in Darrang, where the foundation stone will be laid for the Medical College and Hospital, as well as the Nursing College. The foundation stone will also be laid for the Guwahati Ring Road Project.”
He further added, “In Golaghat, the Assam Bioethanol Plant at Numaligarh Refinery Limited will be inaugurated. This is an important step towards promoting clean energy. The foundation stone for the Polypropylene Plant at Numaligarh Refinery will also be laid. These works will boost the local economy and encourage job creation.”

PM Narendra Modi said, "Today, we are going to make ethanol from bamboo. But you should not forget the days when the Congress government used to put people in jail for cutting bamboo. There was a ban on cutting bamboo, which is a part of the daily life of our tribals. Our government lifted the ban on bamboo cutting and today this decision is benefiting the people of North East a lot." "All of you use many things made of plastic in your daily life. The thing needed to make all this is polypropylene. It is difficult to imagine today's life without polypropylene... The foundation of Make in Assam, Make in India, is going to be strengthened with this plant. Other manufacturing industries will also get a boost here...Now, textiles made from polypropylene are also going to be added to Assam's identity."
PM Modi said, "The BJP government has only one mantra for development. That mantra is- 'Nagrik Devo Bhava'. That is, the citizens of the country should not face any inconvenience. They should not have to wander here and there for their petty needs. For a long time during the rule of Congress, the poor were made to suffer and were insulted, because the work of Congress was done by appeasing a particular class. They used to get power. But the BJP does not emphasise on appeasement, but satisfaction. We are working with the feeling that no poor, no area, should be left behind. Today, the work of building concrete houses for the poor in Assam is also progressing rapidly. So far, more than 20 lakh concrete houses have been provided to the poor in Assam..."

Today, a plant to make ethanol from bamboo has been started here. This will be of great benefit to the farmers of Assam..." "India is taking rapid steps in the production of green energy. A decade ago, India was far behind in the field of solar power, but today, India has come among the top five countries in the world in terms of solar power. In these changing times, India needs more fuels as an alternative to oil and gas. One such alternative is ethanol. Today, a plant to make ethanol from bamboo has been started here. This will be of great benefit to the farmers of Assam, my tribal brothers, sisters and families. The bamboo required to run the bio-ethanol plant is also being arranged. The government will help the farmers here to cultivate bamboo and will also purchase bamboo. Every year, about Rs 200 crore will be spent in this area. Thousands of people here will benefit from this one plant."

We have been dependent on foreign countries for these things. PM Modi on Sunday laid the foundation stone for a bridge over the Brahmaputra.
“PM Modi visited Manipur after two years (after the violence broke out). He got too late. Several women were assaulted. It’s after two complete years that he thought of coming to Manipur,” AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi said.
"Today is a red-letter day in the history of Manipur. PM Modi gifted significant developmental projects worth thousands of crores. He also inaugurated India's second-largest bridge, which is taller than the Qutub Minar... PM Modi was grandly welcomed in Manipur, and a large number of people came to his gathering. This clearly shows that Manipur also desires peace," ANI quoted BJP's Pratul Shah Deo as saying.
