New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday congratulated Bhupendra Patel after he took oath as Gujarat Chief Minister.
PM Modi also congratulated all those who took oath as Ministers.
In a tweet, he said: “Congratulations to Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel on taking oath as CM of Gujarat. I would like to also congratulate all those who took oath as Ministers. This is an energetic team which will take Gujarat to even newer heights of progress.”

Bhupendra Patel took oath of office as Gujarat Chief Minister for the second time on Monday.
The BJP swept the Gujarat Assembly election, taking 156 seats, the most any party has won since the state was formed in 1960.
The BJP’s seventh consecutive Assembly election victory in Gujarat is its largest since the state’s inception in 1960.
The swearing-in ceremony was held at Gandhinagar in Gujarat. The oath-taking ceremony was attended by prominent BJP leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and chief ministers of other BJP-ruled states also attended the ceremony.
