PM Modi US Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday night reached the United States of America. His plane landed at New York’s John F Kennedy (JFK Airport) at around 10:00 PM IST Where he was received grandly by America’s Chief Protocol Officer Rufus Gifford. People of the Indian diaspora were also present there in huge numbers to welcome PM Modi.

They all welcomed him with the slogans “Bharat Mata ki Jai and Modi-Modi”.

On the first day of his visit, PM Modi will meet CEOs, Nobel laureates, economists, artists, scientists, scholars, entrepreneurs, educationists, and health sector experts. The Prime Minister will attend the Yoga Day celebrations at the United Nations Headquarters on 21 June. 

For the first time, PM Modi is the state guest of America from June 22 to 24 June. He will meet President Joe Biden and other office bearers. He will address a joint session of the US Congress during his 3-day official visit.
