Independence Day 2023: Like last year, before the celebration of Independence Day Prime Minister Narendra Modi once again asked citizens to participate in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan’.

PM Modi appealed to people to hoist the national flag between August 13 to 15 and requested all to share a picture of it on the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ website. The PM shared the link to the website.

PM Modi said in a tweet that the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign has added new energy to the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence. The countrymen have to take this campaign to a new height this year. Let us unfurl the national flag, the symbol of pride and pride of the country, between 13th to 15th August. Must also upload your selfie with the tricolor on https://harghartiranga.com.

Last year the before Independence Day celebration, the Prime Minister started the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign to mark 75 years of independence. Tiranga yantras were taken out in across the country and the tricolor was hoisted in homes and offices between 13th and 15th August. At the beginning of the ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’, Prime Minister Modi appealed to the people to hoist the tricolor at their homes. This campaign of PM got tremendous support from the people.

Meri Mati Mera Desh

This year, the government has started ‘Meri Mati, Mera Desh Abhiyan’. The campaign was launched on August 9 and will continue till Independence Day. The ‘Meri Mati Mera Desh’ campaign was announced during the 103rd episode of the radio program ‘Mann ki Baat by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. A series of programs will be organised across the nation to remember the heroes of freedom. In memory of them, shilaphalakams (memorial plaques) will be installed in village panchayats near Amrit Sarovar.
